But here in the States, most people wood associ8 it w/ Sade, a adult contemporary signer of Nigerian %26amp; British nationality whose full name is Helen Folasade Adu. U'no, "Smooth Operator" %26amp; "The Sweetest Taboo." Perhaps some would think of the Marquis de Sade, but if ever there was a Family Feud question, "Marquis de Sade" would b the #2 answer below "soft rock/contemporary jazz singer." So I wood advise against using Sade as a male name...in the U.S. probably.

Reply:I really like the name Sade, but I'll always associate it as a feminine name because of the singer by the same name. I'm sure it would work - but other people are going to think feminine.
Reply:I love this name. My daugter goes to play school with a boy called sade and I think it really suits him. To me, it still sounds masculin yet is so different to the usual david, andrew, christopher names. I really like it and may even consider it for my baby number 2 if it's a boy.
