What are some cool names you like a lot but would never name your child?

I like Aleshanee, a native american name that means "girl who plays all the time"

Lucien, Lionel, Piper, River, Willow, and Cherokee. But I wouldn't name my child that. Although I wouldn't ever name my child that. I am considering Willow and Cherokee as middle names though.

What are some names you like but wouldn't name your child simply because they're too unusual?

Reply:We have alot of the same names.

Willow- I don't know- I just would never use it.

Rhys- Reminds me of Reese Witherspoon.

Lucien- Sounds to feminine.

Talia- I don't know

Kennedy- It is gorgeous but it means Deformed Head

.

Oliver- Sounds weird

Ella- Too short, and she wouldn't be taken seriously as an adult.

Callum- Callus. Enough said.
Reply:I'm gonna have to go with you and say Willow. I LOVE that name. But, we can't do it because my fiance's last name begins with a W and no matter how you try to arrange the name, it sounds so awkward and weird.

A name I love for a boy, but again, just woudln't because I don't feel like it fits us as a family is Forrest. I think it sounds strong and manly.
Reply:I also like Piper and Willow. I also was thinking abotu Tatiana (I love the nickname Tate) but now it seems a bit over the top and too princess-y (if you know what i mean. too long, and spoiled sounding. No offense to anyone named Tatiana.) I also love Evangeline, but think its a bit too much.
Reply:poppy-adorable but can't imagine calling my kid that

lucinda-lucie-love the nick name not the real

madison-too common

or

Ashlynn-love it but weird

would name my daughter

Evangeline Marie EVAN for short

and

Jamison Grace maybe call her Jamie but not sure!
Reply:Hmm.. I usually like unusual names, but not "creative" names. I guess some I like but would never use are Leilani, Gwendolyn, Maizy (sounds too much like a pet name), and Montgomery. I like them though!
Reply:I agree with your Piper choice. I like it a lot, but it'd be kind of strange.
