Is Oliver or Kris a cool name for a baby boy?

I like Oliver because I love the book Oliver Twist, and Kris spelled with a K sounds cool for some reason...thoughts?

Oliver isn't that common and it sounds pretty darn cool if you have that almost old fashioned name like Oliver.

Reply:Kris is normally short for a girl named Kirsten, Kristina, or anything like that, so I think Chris would be cool. I know a lot of people named Chris though. I love the name Oliver though
Reply:Kris with a K is the feminine form of Chris in my opinion. Oliver is not to my taste but I think it sounds OK for a little guy!!

I dont feel as though Kris is anything spectacular, it is a nice name but it sounds the same with a "K" as it does with a "CH"
